In the Spring of 2024, GFFE approved and fulfilled a great called "Harmony Across Schools" presented by the Guilford elementary schools' 4 music education teachers. Having partnered with AW Cox teacher, Russell Kleiner, on his Howlers Ensemble previously, we knew there would be amazing outcomes from this grant. Funding provided a library of key instruments in enough quantity to cover a classroom of students, which now rotate across the 4 schools. Mr. Kleiner recently provided an update on how the grant has already had a big impact on students in his classes this year- and a video of a recent drum circle at AW Cox.
